01.   What is the actual installation hole size, and can I retrofit into existing            hardscape?

Fixture body is 48x42mm and requires a Φ35mm cored hole. A standard 35mm core bit or hole saw goes into existing pavers, timber decking, stone steps or compacted gravel beds - no trenching out finished landscaping. Depth clearance needed is 42mm plus cable bend radius, so allow roughly 60mm behind the face.

02.  Is IP67 enough for a fixture sitting in the ground?

IP67 covers temporary immersion - heavy rain, irrigation spray, puddling, washdown, snowmelt. That is the correct rating for at-grade landscape positions. It is not rated for continuous submersion, so do not install these in pond beds, fountain basins or swimming pools; those applications require IP68. For low spots that hold water for extended periods, ensure a gravel drainage bed beneath the fixture.

03.  What voltage do I need, and how many fixtures can run on one line?

DC12-24V. Fixture draw is 3W. Circuit count depends on your driver capacity and cable run length - a 60W driver at 12V supports roughly 16-18 fixtures at 80% loading, but voltage drop over long runs is the real limit. Send us your run lengths and layout and our engineers will size the driver and cable gauge for you.

04.  Which CCT should I choose for my project?

en options: 1800K, 2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 6000K, plus red, green, blue and amber. Practical guidance - 1800K/2200K for specimen trees, bark texture and heritage stonework; 2700K/3000K for residential gardens, patios and steps (the most-ordered range); 4000K for commercial plazas and security-relevant walkways; 6000K rarely suits planting. Amber is often specified in dark-sky and turtle-nesting coastal zones. RGB and RGBW versions are also available if you need addressable color rather than fixed.

05.  How much light does 3W actually give?

380lm at 38° beam angle, CRI>90 from 3pcs CREE XTE chips. In a narrow beam that concentration matters more than raw wattage - for tree uplighting, expect effective throw on trunks and canopy up to roughly 3-4m for good visual effect. Please confirm with us whether 380lm is quoted at LED source or fixture output before you write it into a tender, as optical and driver losses typically account for 15-20%.

06.  Will they survive coastal salt air or de-icing salt?

304 stainless steel face ring plus 6063 aluminum body is the correct material pairing for at-grade corrosion exposure - salt spray, fertilizer chemistry, standing water. Note that 304 is good but not the maximum; for direct seafront installations within splash distance, ask whether a 316 stainless variant is available. If you need a documented corrosion class for a tender (NSS salt spray hours, C4/C5 rating), request the test report from us - do not assume it from the material spec alone.
